Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC) is collaborating with the Texas Association of Business (TAB), the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE), the North Texas Commission (NTC), and a growing list of other Texas business and economic development stakeholders to launch the Texas Return to Work Initiative, a direct response to meet employer and employee needs during the COVID-19 crisis.
This is a two-part initiative, beginning with an Employer Return to Work Survey. Results of this survey will help assess the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on local, regional, and statewide economies and gain a deeper understanding of the needs and concerns of Texas businesses overall. These local and statewide results will serve as an ongoing research, awareness building, and advocacy platform for the Texas business community in the coming months.
The second part is an Interactive Online Return to Work Resource Guide. This is the perfect tool for employers, and to share with your employees. This Guide provides resources to help Texas employers and workers get back to work safely and as soon as possible. It will be updated regularly until we are through this crisis.
