Business & Industrial Parks

Brenham Community Development Corporation (BCDC) owns land in Brenham's two industrial / business parks. Land is therefore readily available for business development. For projects that meet certain criteria regarding job creation and capital investment, BCDC will consider low-to-no cost land as a development incentive.

Brenham Business Center

Brenham Business Center (BBC) is a 250-acre Class A business park. All available sites within BBC are owned by BCDC and are investment-ready with: 

  • City of Brenham municipal water and wastewater
  • City of Brenham municipal natural gas 
  • Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative electric service
  • AT&T fiber infrastructure 

Detention is provided to an adjacent pond within the business park so that every acre purchased may be used for your project. BBC fronts US Highway 290, a four-lane limited access highway with access points from South Blue Bell Road, James Nutt Boulevard, and Handley Street.

Brenham Business Center is home to Blinn College's A.W. Hodde Technical Education Center where state-of-the-art technical education is provided to assure Washington County businesses maintain a well-trained workforce. 

Brenham Business Center is also home to Del Sol Foods, Inc., Precision Polymers, Inc., and The MIC Group.

Southwest Industrial Park

Southwest Industrial Park (SWIP) is a 300-acre Class B industrial park. All available sites within SWIP are owned by BCDC or the Brenham EDF and are investment-ready with: 

  • City of Brenham municipal water and wastewater
  • City of Brenham municipal natural gas 
  • Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative electric service
  • AT&T fiber infrastructure

Southwest Industrial Park is home to Brenham Police Department, Tempur Sealy International, Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, Nextlink, MIC Group, Hi-Line Industries, Wabtec Longwood Elastomers, H&H Machine Service, Kountry Boy Sausage, REM Surface Engineering, Hi-Line Industries, The Cato Group, RR Donnelley, Polar Ice Company, and others.
