Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced plans to reopen Texas through a phased approach.The plan allows may customer-oriented businesses, such as restaurants and retail stores, to reopen this Friday, May 1st. This reopening will require restrictions on facility capacity at 25% of the normal occupancy. Governor Abbott plans to further loosen capacity restrictions and open additional businesses around May 18th, provided there is no spike in COVID-19 cases.
